We return again to the Venue MOT to showcase explorations in music technology at the fore front of London’s live electronic scene. This month we are so excited to present none other than the Fossil Archive label head, Roberto aka R.M.K Not only playing frequent sets at Berlin’s Berghain, Tresor and Fabric and Fold back in London, but most notably having worked with one of the undisputed masters of the drum and bass and techno scenes, the late Marcus Intalex aka Travino as well as legendary vocalist Robert Owens, Jamie Anderson, Goldie and Nastia. Roberto brings his live set up for a full hour of techno meditation “Although the focus is always on the very heart of the most raucous of raves, R.M.K never shies away from groove and funk. This is conveyed in a Live Show that utilises classic hardware from the golden age of UK Rave.” HappyHappyFace will perform his 1st featured set having performed previously at both our Factory Setting jam in Croydon and Venue MOT. Expecting twisted beats and warped melodies with nods of IDM and Aphex but always totally original and unique. Resident DJ Counselling will be keeping the dance floor moving with his blend of deep melodies, melancholy techno and house. Factory Setting curator Simon Mós returns with an ever evolving live modular synth performance currently centered in his fascination with deep minimal techno and industrial sound design. The evening kicks off as usual with live performances from the London EMOM scene. Line up will be announced soon. get in touch for more information [email protected]
