Special edition electronic music open mic event sponsored by Pirate TV at Club Silly in Brixton. This event is getting filmed with a multicamera audio-visual system to gather footage for FLVZ’s upcoming EMOM film project.
SLOTS ARE STRICTLY 15 MINUTES (INCLUDING SET UP AND PACK DOWN TIMES). The music has to stop at 11pm, so this is to give as many people as possible a chance to play!
Sorry – no acoustic guitars – unless they are being used to generate soundscapes or some other style of music in keeping with the night. This is an acoustic free zone (there are already some super nights in London to suit acoustic musicians).
The gig is a SIGN UP ON THE NIGHT (Sign ups from 6:30pm) type of electronic music open mic; HOWEVER we are reserving 1/3 of slots as prebook for non-male performers and the rest is sign-up during the event to secure a spot. We are filming the entire event for the EMOM Film and it is also being live streamed. Audio-visual facilities made available thanks to Pirate TV and BOSI the venue managers.
